Equality In Society

This is an article that I wrote for U.S. history in 11th grade (1999-00) expressing my views on racism.

Ok, say that you are applying for a job right? You go into your interview, and it goes well, and so on. But, guess what? You did not get the job because the suitcase you brought was purple, and your boss didnt like purple. Stupid, huh? Wellits the same thing with racism.

People today go around abusing others because of the color of their skin. It is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. I meancome on! In the Constitution it specifically states "Liberty and freedom for all." This includes blacks.

African Americans are just the same as you or me. They do the same things, they talk, and in some waysthey are even better than whites. People need to wake up, and realize that these ideas about blacks being inferior are petty, dumb, stuck-up, and are usually the sign of a delusional mind.

Also, I have not seen any evidence of the reasons for this. I think the reason that people do this is because the gates in their head are lockedwhen they dont need to be. We could learn a lot more if we actually start abiding by the Constitution instead of being hypocrites.

If you are one of those people that have these kinds of racial hang-upsyou need a super-sized piece of concrete dropped on your head. Perhaps it will knock some sense in you. Because you are just being barbaric and hypocritical by being racist.  Otherwise then thatI would suggest you look at how the world really is, not what you want it to be.
